We are currently looking for a Merchandise Associate to join our dynamic Merchandising team.

**As a Merchandise Associate, you will**:

- Create and maintain item records in the company’s database ensuring accuracy and completeness of product information in line with our commitment to excellence
- Generate purchase orders based on inventory levels, sales forecasts, and merchandise requirements ensuring that we meet our customers’ needs
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of merchandise, reflecting our dedication to reliability and efficiency
- Assist in the distribution process, including inventory management, shipment tracking, and resolving any shipping issues, upholding our standards of service
- Prepare and analyze Product Group Category (PGC) reports to monitor sales performance, identify trends and make data-driven recommendations, contributing to our vision of becoming a leading value merchant
- Engage with the sales, marketing and inventory management teams to enhance merchandise selection and pricing strategies
- Provide administrative support to the merchandise department as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support the team in achieving our goals

**Who You Are**:

- Previous experience in a merchandise or retail environment is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel etc.), including the ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets, supporting our data-driven approach to decision making
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes and systems
- Knowledge of inventory management principles is an asset, enhancing your ability to contribute to our success
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field is preferred, demonstrating a commitment to professional development
