**Job Description**:
Responsible for the orderly flow of material and to maintain housekeeping standards in common areas of the plant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for safe and efficient operation of all types of powered and manual material handling equipment required in shipping, receiving and delivery of products to the point of use
- Responsible for loading and unloading trucks
- Work in compliance with Stackpole International Safety, Environmental, Quality and Production Systems
- Prepares and maintains records and documentation for shipment of materials, parts, finished goods and other related items
- Analyzes production report to schedule shipping activities and arrange for and expedite additional carriers if required
- Collection of cardboard and packaging materials and neat and orderly disposition via compactor or lugger
- Collection of metal chip waste and neat and orderly disposition into metal waste luggers
- Collection of wood skids and disposition into luggers and/or trailers
- Working as a team collective to coordinate and make efficient use of material handling equipment
- Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications, Education And / or Experience:

- Completion of High School Diploma
- Forklift experience preferred
- Must be a competent, safe and reliable individual capable of being trained on all types of MH equipment
- Must be able to handle the physical demands of a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Excellent attitude and willingness to learn
- Good mechanical and mathematical aptitude
- Must be available to work overtime
- Must be able to co-operate and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
