Adult English as a Second Language (ESL) Day Instructor - LTO
The Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board is recruiting an Adult ESL Day instructor to teach in a non-credit ESL class at our Hill Park site in a long term occasional assignment.
**Summary**:
**Base Wage**: $35.90 or according to the OSSTF ESL Collective Agreement.

**Qualifications**:
Current TESL Ontario Certification (OCELT) is required.
Completion of CLB Bootcamp and Introduction to PBLA from the Centre for Canadian Language Benchmarks or experience deemed equivalent
Knowledge and experience teaching according to the Canadian Language Benchmarks
Exceptional interpersonal skills to work effectively with teaching colleagues, administrative staff, and the management team
Excellent communication and cross-cultural skills
Excellent practice and knowledge in the principles of adult learning
Demonstrated experience using technology as a teaching and learning tool
