We are currently seeking a Construction Technician to join our vibrant and growing Edmonton team in a permanent, full-time capacity.

**The Opportunity**
Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Construction Technician has the following roles and responsibilities:

- Install NG gas heaters and hoses in basement and garages
- Hang tarps on garage door openings
- Hoard basement stairwells and plug HVAC holes with insulation to hold basement heat
- Keep walks and driveways clear of snow and mud
- House, basement and garage sweeps
- Lot cleans
- Pressure washing front entrance and driveways
- Build temporary door barricades for homes at possession
- Install construction locks and safety signage
- Pump out the occasional lot and or basement water
- Cutting of grass at certain showhomes
- Sealing basement and garage floor cracks
- Moving extra materials from site to site
- Occasional framing and floor sheathing repair
- Wall or floor squeak repairs
- Provide assistance to the Interior Designer with moving/assembling furniture and Sales Centre displays
- Fence removal for grading access
- Notify Site Supervisor of any hazards, problems, or safety concerns.

**The Person**
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to provide a clean driver's abstract.
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal communication skills
