Kamloops Truss is currently seeking a **Technical Sales Representative (Truss, Timber, and Engineered Wood Products (EWP) **to join our team in **Kamloops, BC.**

**Position Overview**:
As a Technical Sales Representative specializing in Truss, Timber, and Engineered Wood Products (EWP), you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by aggressively pursuing new sales opportunities and exceeding revenue targets. Your primary focus will be on promoting and selling our Truss and EWP components to construction companies, contractors, architects, and other stakeholders within the construction industry. Leveraging your technical expertise and hunter mentality, you will cultivate relationships, demonstrate product value, and deliver exceptional customer service to maximize sales opportunities. **Responsibilities**:
**Sales and Business Development**:
- Take a proactive approach to identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the construction industry, focusing on truss, timber, and EWP solutions.
- Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to penetrate new markets, acquire new customers, and expand our market share.
- Consistently exceed revenue targets by driving sales growth and capturing new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop pricing strategies and negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring maximum profitability.
**Technical Expertise**:
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of truss design, engineered trusses, engineered wood products, and relevant industry standards to provide expert guidance to customers.
- Offer technical support and solutions to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and optimize product performance.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive landscape to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
**Product Demonstration and Training**:
- Organize and facilitate training sessions and workshops for clients and internal sales teams to ensure a thorough understanding of our product offerings and capabilities.
**Customer Relationship Management**:
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with clients by delivering exceptional customer service, addressing their needs, and exceeding expectations.
- Proactively follow up with clients to gather feedback, assess satisfaction levels, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Maintain meticulous records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights using CRM software.
**Market Analysis and Reporting**:
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify emerging trends, potential opportunities, and competitive threats.
- Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to evaluate performance against targets and inform strategic decision-making.
