As a Family Physician, you will be at the forefront of providing comprehensive medical care to patients, utilizing core skills in patient care and medical terminology. Your premium skills in clinical experience, research, pain management, and pediatrics will enable you to deliver high-quality healthcare services. We are a family medicine clinic that accommodates both walk-in and panelled patients. Have a panel; see walk-ins or both.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct research to stay current with medical advancements and implement evidence-based practices.
- Manage pain effectively through various treatment modalities, including medication and non-pharmacological interventions.
- Address pediatric patients' unique healthcare needs focusing on preventive care and early intervention.
**Qualifications**
- Strong patient care skills with a focus on providing compassionate and effective medical treatment
- Proficiency in medical terminology to accurately communicate with patients and healthcare professionals
- Acute care knowledge to effectively manage urgent medical situations
- Pediatrics expertise to provide specialized care for children
- Familiarity with EMR systems for efficient medical record management
- Be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta
