Informal is a core contributor to Cosmos, where we develop interoperable blockchain systems by heavily relying on formal verification tools and techniques (formal specification in TLA+, symbolic model checker Apalache, Model-Based Testing Framework, etc.).

The Cosmos technology stack, including Tendermint Core, the Cosmos-SDK, IBC, and the Cosmos Proof of Stake modules, is an industry leading toolkit, written in Go, for building, deploying, and running community owned decentralized networks. This technology is used today to secure many billions of dollars in cryptocurrency market capitalization.

**About the Role**

As a Growth Specialist at Informal Systems, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our reach within the Cosmos ecosystem and beyond. This position requires a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of the crypto, tokenomics, and protocol landscape, capable of bridging technical concepts with strategic business development (BD) initiatives. You will be instrumental in profiling and onboarding key partners, crafting compelling narratives alongside our product and marketing teams, and fostering community engagement through insightful research and content creation.

**What your primary responsibilities will be**:

- Profile and onboard consumer and security partners to strengthen our ecosystem.
- Assist with BD efforts to establish and maintain strategic partnerships.
- Add to and manage a comprehensive database of contacts for Informal Systems.
- Collaborate with product and marketing leads to develop winning narratives.
- Research and write engaging content that simplifies complex topics for our audience.
- Offer product insights, contributing to the team’s understanding of the industry landscape.
- Facilitate community feedback to improve and innovate product features and concepts championed by the Cosmos community.

**What we look for in a successful Blockchain Growth Specialist**:

- Strong knowledge of the current crypto/tokenomics/protocol landscape.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and assess their potential outcomes.
- Proven experience in business development within the blockchain or fintech sectors.
- Background in finance, economics, or computer science, with a preference for experience in VC, risk management, game theory, DEXes, security/protocol design, or smart contracts.
- Excellent content writing skills with the ability to engage a diverse audience.
- Independent worker with strong team collaboration skills.
