**About the job**

Swidget is looking for a Production Assembler to join our novel manufacturing team at our Kingston, Ontario facility. Our products require a meticulous person to solder, assemble and package our electrical devices and inserts.

This position will involve a variety of electronic and mechanical assembly tasks, as well as some logistics and maintenance responsibilities. Duties include:

- Assemble Swidget devices and inserts including programming, test, soldering, mechanical assembly, inspection, packaging, and documentation.
- Diagnostics and repair of Swidget devices and inserts.
- Provide feedback on design and manufacturing processes to improve quality and reduce cost.
- Inventory management duties including picking, stocking and cycle counting raw materials, components, and consumables.
- Packing, shipping, and receiving responsibilities as required.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Keep production and logistics spaces clean and well-organized.

- You are a motivated and assertive self-starter with a positive attitude who will fit in with the culture of a dynamic, innovative, and growing company.
- You have a technical diploma and/or experience in electronics assembly.
- You have soldering skills.
- You are a great communicator in English.
- You can adapt and learn quickly.
- You can interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
- You are capable to lift 20 kg / 45 lb packages.
- You are detail-oriented and can perform precision tasks independently.
- You may have experience in Manufacturing.

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
