Landscape Construction Surveyor

**Responsibilities**:

- Survey job-site & set up cad drawings
- Compare as-built conditions to drawings to foresee potential issues
- Volume calculations. Provide cut and fill of site if required
- Prepare accurate field notes, sketches, and reports
- Design modifications to solve issues that arise on site.
- Perform layout work. Generate layout files as required by Supervisor or site Foreman
- Conduct grade checks as needed
- Perform calculations and analysis to support surveying activities
- Record survey and field data for as-built drawings
- Maintain survey equipment and perform calibrations as required
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures

**Requirements**:

- 3-year minimum experience in construction surveying
- Good knowledge in Landscape Construction methodology
- Strong computer skills. Proficient with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and details
- Must be a self-starter. You must possess the ability to schedule and plan your own work
- Willingness to work outdoors in a variety of conditions
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Able to communicate effectively with site staff, and management team
- Physical ability to get equipment to the site. Requires lifting & carrying equipment, bending, walking
- Ability to problem solve
- Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and calculations
- Strong work ethic with the ability to be part of a team and work independently
- Valid drivers license with clean abstract

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
