**JOB OVERVIEW**
This is a full-time, permanent position

**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES**:
- AMI Montessori Primary Assistant certification
- B.C. Early Childhood Educator (ECE or ECEA) certificate
- Exceptional interpersonal, time management and leadership abilities
- Provide the children with a prepared environment which includes making materials to support the individual needs within the classroom
- Plan individual and group activities to stimulate growth of the children in social, emotional and academic areas
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with children and staff.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
- Able to create an environment built on respect, patience, empathy and kindness
- Compensation to commensurate on experience_
Pay: $22.50-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
