_The Students’ Association of Red Deer Polytechnic exists as per the Post-Secondary Learning Act (see Student Affairs section 93: Students association) and plays an important role in student life at Red Deer Polytechnic. It advocates for and represents students, provides a myriad of important (and fun) services and events, and is one of the largest employers of students on campus._

**What you will be doing**:
Responsible for all Association wellness and mental health initiatives, training, activities and events.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Support the Association’s Mental Health Committee as staff resource.
- Collaborate with RDP on the continuance and growth of MindfulU.
- Collaborate with RDP on the continuance and growth of Recovery on campus.
- Promote _Mywellness _(online mental health tool) to the membership.
- Promote on-campus and off-campus mental health supports to students.
- Provide wellness training and education to Association staff, Executives, Council, and students at large.
- Work closely with the Member Engagement team on the promotion and execution of all events and activities related to wellness on campus.
- Seek out and invite relevant community partners to participate in and contribute to wellness events on campus.
- Plan and execute wellness activities, events, and education sessions.

**What will the right person look like?**

**Your experience includes**:

- 1-2 years of post-secondary education.
- Experience working in health education, counseling, psychology, social work or a related field is required.

**The details**:

- 30 hours per week
- Monday - Friday
- Some evenings and weekends as **REQUIRED.**
