School Office Support I
Temporary Part Time - 16.25 hours/week
**Duties to Commence**: March 18, 2024 until April 26, 2024
**Qualifications & Duties**:
Committed to being a model and witness to Christ-centered education values and beliefs.
High School Diploma supplemented by related post-secondary education.
Ability to work appropriately with elementary aged students.
Assist with dispensing student medications and snacks.
Experience and/or training with PowerSchool information system, specifically:
data input, management and maintenance of student files
student and course registration
report compilation and editing (PASI)
attendance function
Proficiency with standard office software programs including MS Word; knowledge of Google Apps for Education and Gmail, Excel, Boxclever, Facebook, Smore, is an asset.
Experience with PowerSchool Atrieve (EASI) system is an asset.
Ability to perform a variety of routine clerical/secretarial tasks in support of a busy office environment including:
word-process a variety of materials; greet and direct visitors
receive and direct calls
maintain files; operate standard office equipment
field trip organization and tracking
sending school communications through School Messenger
website (Boxclever)/social media weekly updates
communication with outside agencies (i.e. community use)
morning announcements support
compile and edit standard reports, newsletters
management of supplies
follow up on student attendance
