Overview:
The Director of Allocation is responsible for the training and development of the merchandising teams. The Director of Allocation establishes cross functional partnerships to ensure departmental strategies are in line with company’s financial goals. They need to ensure stores are in stock on key items and replenishment merchandise. They will manage warehouse flow of inventory to maximize/optimize store space/capacity.

**This hybrid position will be located at our Corporate Office in **North York, Ontario.** Hybrid in-office expectations are t**hree times per week, **Tuesday **- Thursday.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Train, motivate and develop team to ensure effective performance and growth through consistent on the job training and teaching.
Help drive strategic initiatives outlined by senior management.
- Take ownership and accountability of measuring progress of action plans and goals as set by the allocation team and division.
- Partner with Buyers and Planners to create pre-season location SKU assortment plans to support departmental merchandise strategy (Detailed Store Plan-DSP and Space Allocation Tool-SAT).
- Be the voice of Allocation on key divisional strategies and actions.
- Develop and maintain collaborative partnership and negotiate effectively with internal colleagues.
- Partner with Field Team to identify trends, address competition opportunities and product needs.
- Monitor upcoming store openings and provide guidance to teams to make sure inventory targets are met.

Qualifications:

- Strength in OMS, preferably Quantum
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to proactively problem solve and come up with solutions
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong understanding of retail environment and merchandising operations
- Proficient with Excel
- Strong Organizational, Communication and Team-Building Skills

**Benefits**:
Salary Range (CAD): $110000 - $135000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below:
