The Program Director for Immigration Services will oversee the development, implementation, and management of immigration-related programs. This role involves working with diverse stakeholders, including clients, legal teams, and community organizations, to ensure effective service delivery and compliance with immigration laws.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Program Development**:

- Design and implement programs that support immigrants and their families, addressing their unique needs.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps in services and develop strategies to address them.
- **Compliance and Policy**:

- Ensure all programs comply with local, state, and federal immigration laws and regulations.
- Stay updated on changes in immigration policies and procedures.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Manage a team of immigration specialists, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- **Community Engagement**:

- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Represent the organization at community events and forums.
- **Budget Management**:

- Oversee program budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and proper allocation of resources.
- **Monitoring and Evaluation**:

- Develop metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and impact.
- Regularly assess program performance and implement improvements as needed.
- **Advocacy**:

- Advocate for immigrant rights and policies that support immigrant communities.
- Engage in public speaking and outreach to raise awareness of immigration issues.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in social work, public administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in immigration services or related field.
- Strong understanding of immigration laws and processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with diverse populations and in multicultural environments.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Flexible language requirement:

- Monday to Friday

- Toronto, ON M9C 5L6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
