**Sturgeon Public Schools** **is currently seeking a permanent full-time **Office Clerk/Library Technician **for a work assignment at Guthrie School.

Guthrie School, located just minutes north of the cities of Edmonton and St. Albert, sits on CFB Edmonton Garrison military base. It serves Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Grades 1-9, with an approximate total population of 270 students and 50 staff. Guthrie School encourages students to be critical thinkers, engaged in their own learning environment, and creative with their problem solving. Guthrie School gives students the skills and knowledge to reach their full potential.

**FTE**:1.0 FTE; 7.0 hrs/day; 35 hrs/week; 0.6 FTE Office Clerk and 0.4 FTE Library Technician

The hourly rate is $18.82 - $23.57 for the Office Clerk and $19.79 - $24.54 for the Library Technician as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.

**Qualification & Attributes**:

- Computer literacy and troubleshooting
- Organize and display materials and resources so they are readily available
- Manage the school website, online calendar and manage attendance
- Cataloguing training preferred
- AV troubleshooting including Smart Boards
- Facilitate the use of technological equipment including but not limited to Ipads, computers, chrome books, laptops, MAC and Apple Configurator Programs, interactive whiteboards and document cameras
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in an environment where there are multiple unplanned interruptions

**Educational/Professional Requirements**:

- High School Diploma, supplemented with an Office Assistant Certificate (or similar) plus 1-year experience working in an office environment
- Library Information Technician Diploma or equivalent
- Insignia and catalogue training preferred
- Power School experience an asset
- Experience with MS Office, Google Suite, Website Management and troubleshooting media communication/TV systems and Social media management experience is an asset
- First Aid would be an asset
