**Duration: July 31-October 20, 2023**

**Location: VIFF Centre / Remote**

**Scope: 2023 Vancouver International Film Festival**

**Remuneration: $9,660 contract**

The Greater Vancouver International Film Festival Society is a not-for-profit cultural organization that operates the internationally acclaimed Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF) and the multi-screen VIFF Centre. We produce screenings, talks and events as a catalyst for a diverse community to discover, discuss and share the creativity and craft of storytelling on screen.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Build weekly newsletters, daily Festival eblasts, programming announcements,

outreach campaigns and customer communications in Mail Chimp using drag-and
- Work with the Marketing Team on audience list segmentation, content

customization and campaign automation and scheduling.

working closely with the Content Coordinator, Programmers and Marketing team.
- Optimize campaigns to improve open rate, clickthrough, conversion, as well as

specific marketing goals.

**Qualifications**:

- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail - proofing copy, graphics and testing links.
- Creative thinker, with an eye for design and layout.
- Display problem-solving skills to address and solve technical problems that arise.
- Experience with InDesign, Photoshop (image resizing, simple graphics)
- Experience with CMS - WordPress preferred
- Experience with Slack, Asana and/or Filemaker, an asset.
- Flexibility with work hours and availability on select evenings and weekends

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: $4,830.00 per month

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Vancouver, BC V6B 3M7
