**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Conduct assessments to evaluate the needs of individuals, children and their families.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide counseling services to children experiencing emotional, behavioral, or developmental challenges.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, healthcare providers, and social workers.
- Manage cases effectively by maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Engage in data collection and research activities to enhance service delivery.
- Educate families about available resources and support systems.
- Stay informed about current trends in special education and pediatric care.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience working with children in clinical or educational settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to pediatrics is a plus.
- Familiarity with case management practices and patient care protocols.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating independence in managing caseloads.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in the fields of counseling and child development.
