Payroll Administrator/accounts Payable Clerk

Stoney Creek, Canada Clarion Nursing Home Full time

Clarion Nursing Home is currently looking for a dedicated professional for the Payroll and Accounts Payable Administrator position. Main responsibilities will include:
**Payroll**:

- Process biweekly payroll in accordance to company, union, and regulatory requirements for salary and hourly staff
- Collecting payroll data (timesheets, expenses, etc.) and approve them based on schedule
- Review, confirm, balance, and import bi-weekly timecards from the time and attendance system to the payroll solutions
- Update time sheet records
- Process employee terminations, including calculating pay in lieu of notice, severance pay, outstanding vacation, and other monies owed
- Calculate shift premiums, overtime
- Reconcile sand prepare union remittances, RRSP, and garnishments
- Produce, review and submit ROEs
- Issuing employment letters
- Other duties as assigned

**Accounts payable**:

- Prioritize invoices in accordance to payment terms and dates
- Preparing and processing cheques
- Inputting invoices into sage with G/L codes and match invoices
- Providing/filing documentation for audits
- Responding to vendor inquiries and contacting vendors for missing invoices
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Accounts payable
- Payroll
- Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with Sage/ADP
