**JOB MISSION**:
The Inventory Planning & Allocation Analyst plays a central and critical role in delivering Canadian business results through planning and executing the purchasing and allocation of Finished Goods inventory for Footwear, Apparel and Accessories. This role is responsible for the end-to-end flow of inventory into and out of the Region - from the translation of demand requirements and forecasts into purchase orders to effective order book fulfillment to service NB customers (both Wholesale and Retail) in a highly efficient and financially responsible manner. This role serves as the Voice of the Customer and represents the Region throughout the Value Chain

**MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- **_ Inventory Planning & Management_**
- Finished Goods Purchasing for Footwear, Apparel and Accessories
- Translate market demand and forecasts into purchase orders
- Manage Make to Order (MTO) styles via warehouse size negative process and Direct Container requirements
- Manage Make to Stock (MTS) styles
- +/- Stock Position management
- Manage inventory levels by brand, product line, line plan busines
- Utilize available market intelligence (forecast attainment performance, retail sell through) to dynamically manage on hand and incoming inventoryInterface with Sales and Merchandising on distressed inventory issues
- BOL and EOL strategy execution

Inventory Allocation to orders_**
- Complete and on time order fulfillment
- Collaborate with Distribution, Logistics and Customer Operations to ensure proper prioritization of incoming receipts and transfers is in line with regional strategies
- Regional and Customer voice to Value Chain and GBU
- Represent Region in weekly Value Chain Operations meetings
- Proactive supply picture management
- Facilitate the resolution of Order Management issues in collaboration with Customer Operations
- Represent Function in S&OP process - New Product Review, Demand Consensus, Supply Review
- Manage Canada Air Freight recommendations/process
- Proactive Communication to Region of supply constraints
- Regional input into Quality Assurance organization

**REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS**:

- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamic and o9 solutions would be an asset
- Must be knowledgeable of industry, sales channels, the sales process, Demand Planning, booking programs, style life cycle management, and the critical link to supply.
- Ability to multitask, manage day-to-day responsibilities, and work independently
- Forecasting, Merchandising, Sales Planning, Demand Planning, or Supply Planning Experience
- Retail Planning Experience and / or Retail Math Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on problem solving, conflicting objectives, and dealing with multiple customers.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage time, multiple tasks, and deadlines effectively.
- Must have solid communication and presentation skills
- Occasional travel to Sales Meetings
- APICS Certification
