Duties and Responsibilities:

- Prepare detailed trend analysis, business models, and develop links that are critical in understanding accounts receivable, revenue, operating expenses, cash receipts and collections; report findings to management to support the decision-making process.
- Prepare routine and ad-hoc reports and analysis in a timely manner to all queries from shareholders and internal stakeholders.
- Monthly preparation of revenue analysis and related journal entries.
- Basic SQL coding knowledge to drive stable and reliable queries.
- Perform and report on sensitivity and financial analysis to monitor and evaluate the financial performance of proposed cash receipt improvement and personal and commercial account management strategies.
- Assisting the Manager of Finance in enhancing monthly and quarterly reporting for management, audit committee, and board of directors for better efficiencies, explanations, and presentation of information.
- Provide detailed analysis for the determination of the Expected Credit Loss (ECL) and Revenue Reserves and collection cost accruals for Financial Reporting.
- Assist with the preparation of future oriented financial information (i.e. annual budget/forecasts) including Financial Operations costs, ECL, Revenue Reserves and Cash Receipts.
- Work with different areas of the business analyzing drivers and identifying upcoming financial issues or opportunities.
- Create and update finance dashboards using Tableau
- Improve business processes by providing new or enhanced financial reporting
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree and/or Finance/Accounting Designation (or equivalent work experience) preferred (minimum 5 years working experience)
- Relevant experience in a BI & reporting role
- Additional courses in basic programming, SQL and Python is considered an asset
- An understanding of Accounting and Billing Systems and their related database structure
- Commitment to personal growth and development
- Good organization and leadership skills
