**Senior IT Systems Administrator,** you’ll facilitate growth, keep our IT and telecom systems running, and develop our “Modern IT infrastructure” to meet the ever-increasing demands in our Vancouver HQ and remote distribution centers in the US, Canada, and Vietnam.

Size of Team and Dynamic:
We’re a hybrid team, and you will need to be on-site 3 days per week. The IT team is a close-knit group of 5 Particles, plus you, and part of the larger Tech department, which is 70.

**What You'll Do**:

- You will be driving our cloud infrastructure forward by evaluating, recommending, and implementing new solutions that align with our target architecture
- You will work with a full cloud-enabled IT back-office infrastructure, including Google Workspace, Office 365, JumpCloud, Torii, Confluence, FreshWorks, and more. We won't run our own servers on-prem
- You Will use automation, integration, and scripting skills that will enable you to streamline our IT operations and improve the efficiency of our systems and processes
- You will play a key role in identifying gaps in our IT services, automating processes to increase efficiency, and making recommendations to test and monitor our systems' performance
- You will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and analyzing our network equipment, servers, cloud resources, and ensuring the continuous operation of our IT and telecom services
- You will play a critical role in specifying and driving requirements with vendors and third-party partners to align our internal tooling efforts
- You will collaborate closely with various cross-functional teams to advocate for departmental needs, design solutions for our business and internal stakeholders, and ensure that our IT infrastructure supports our company's strategic objectives
- You will be responsible for assessing our company's security implementations, identifying security issues, prioritizing fixes, and creating company security standards
- You will collaborate with the IT team to perform cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses for proposed systems, providing valuable insights to aid management in making informed implementation decisions
- You will be highly resourceful and skilled problem solvers, continuously seeking out new knowledge and thinking outside the box to deliver innovative solutions
- Lastly, you’ll need to pick up incoming tickets to provide onsite support.

**Who you are**:

- 5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or Cloud Systems Administrator
- Exposure to administration of Directory Services, SSO, and centralized configuration management systems
- Exposure to Network and Cloud storage systems administration is a plus.
- Knowledge in the following tech:

- **Hardware**: Apple Macbooks, Lenovo, HP, Zebra, Netgear, Ruckus, CradlePoint, Logitech
- **Software**: Google Workspace, Amazon AWS, JumpCloud, Torii, FreePBX, Slack, Zoom, Office365, Adobe Suite, Freshworks, Tableau
- **Network**:FortiGate, CradlePoint, Netgear, Ruckus, Aruba, StarLink
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment - things will change fast some days
- Ability to work independently and understand when to escalate issues
- Adaptable and open to constant changes in priorities and able to work in a dynamic environment
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs
