We are looking for Construction Maintenance Technician in Toronto ON, who will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on various construction projects and facilities. **Inspections and Assessments**: Inspect construction sites, buildings, and structures to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and code violations. Conduct regular inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with Ontario's building codes and regulations.

**Equipment Operation**: Operate and maintain construction equipment and machinery, such as generators, compressors, pumps, and power tools, according to manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols. Ensure equipment is properly cleaned, lubricated, and stored when not in use.

**Safety Compliance**: Adhere to Ontario's Occupational Health and Safety Act, regulations, and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Identify and address safety hazards promptly and report any incidents or accidents to supervisors or relevant authorities.

**Repair Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment service records. Update equipment maintenance logs and provide detailed documentation for compliance purposes.

**Troubleshooting and Problem Solving**: Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and failures, utilizing technical knowledge, diagnostic tools, and manuals. Analyze problems, develop solutions, and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations.

**Inventory Management**: Monitor inventory levels of spare parts, tools, and supplies. Coordinate with supervisors or procurement teams to ensure an adequate supply of materials for maintenance and repairs.

**Collaboration and Communication**: Collaborate with construction project teams, supervisors, and contractors to coordinate maintenance activities and address equipment-related issues. Communicate effectively to report maintenance findings, provide status updates, and seek guidance or assistance when needed.

**Training and Development**: Stay updated on industry best practices, equipment advancements, and relevant regulations through training and professional development opportunities. Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues to enhance overall team performance.

**Environmental and Sustainability Considerations**: Follow environmental guidelines and regulations related to construction maintenance activities. Promote sustainability practices, such as energy conservation and waste management, within the construction maintenance processes.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Technical certification or diploma in a relevant field, such as construction technology, electrical, or mechanical trades, is preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction equipment, machinery, and systems.
- Familiarity with Ontario's building codes, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repair techniques for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
