Home Support Worker- Saturday 24 HR Once a Month

We have a once a month 24 hr regular respite shift available Saturday ,8am to Sunday 8am (Must be able to work holiday weekends

Qualifications :(CSW) Diploma or Mental Health Worker or equivalent life experience, Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) or equivalent experience ,(CPR), Valid First Aid Certificate, valid class 5 drivers licence.

Experience: Minimum 1 - 2 years

Work Setting: Clients home and community

Clients: Female, aggressive behaviors, hearing impaired, intellectual, mental health, and learning disabilities

Additional Skills: Security and Safety: Current criminal record check, Valid class 5 or better BC driver's license and a current driving record check (abstract)

Other Information: Due to bona fide operational requirements, the position is only open to non
- smoking female applicants who are physically able to handle aggressive behaviours.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $408.00 per day

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
Masks and gloves available. Client in home fully vaccinated.

**Experience**:

- Care home or Support worker: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Class 5 Licence (required)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
- Overnight Shift (preferred)
