**Job Summary**

The Accounting Assistant is responsible to support the finance team members with administrative and organizational duties in Accounts Payable (AP) along with working as a support with the Procurement team. This entry level position is an ideal starting point for a motivated new graduate to start their career in Accounting and Finance.

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**
- Process AP invoices, incoming mail, and bank deposits.
- Organize AP & credit card invoices and receipts.
- Support AP statements of reconciliation processes.
- Organize and process Packing slips/receiving for Procurement team support.
- Administrative support and data entry for the Finance team.

**Qualifications**
- Post secondary education in Accounting is required.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accounting fundamentals.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion with sensitive information.
- Motivation for learning and skill development.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and associated programs (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
