**Job Description**:
RESPONSIBLITIES and ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Coordinate activities and give direction to employees as appropriate. Resolve basic employee production related inquiries.
- Provides effective and professional verbal and written communication to coordinate as required with all necessary employee, areas and shifts.
- Where appropriate, address violations of policy or procedures with the employee and advise of escalation to Supervisor/Manager for review.
- Work in conjunction with Supervisor to ensure daily production requirements and transactional expectations are met to satisfy customer demands.
- Per Supervisor direction, assign work based on order needs and skill requirements.
- Provide support to maintain and coordinate material flow requirements and escalate risks.
- Support organizational Lean, Continuous Improvement and Rockwell Production System activities.
- Identify problems and continuous improvement opportunities. Support Supervisor in drilling to root cause and implementing corrective action activities to ensure successful closure to and meeting of daily expectations.
- Support Supervisor in promoting and achieving targets for a specified area: Quality, Implemented Ideas, S and Continuous Improvement.
- Troubleshoot any quality issues and proactively identify solutions and work with quality engineers to define required quality procedures and communicate as needed.
- Act as a trouble shooter and liaison with other departments to ensure customer service levels are being maintained.
- Support training requirements in test as required, such as, basic training for all new employees (i.e. fundamentals tools, drawings, inspection etc.), how to read documentation (SAP, DWI’s, CSP, drawings) using DWI, upholding RE’s, functional standards and procedures, and company CDC requirements.
- Lead by example to achieve safety goals.
- Participate in developing plans and implementation of actions to correct safety issues.
- Conduct Check-do-check process and complete daily reports.
- Process work orders on dispatch through SAP system or as required/instructed.
- .Accurately report task and times in Factory Talk Production Centre (FTPC) related to work orders and Critical to Quality (CTQ’s).
- Flexibility and adaptability to assume other roles and support other job families as required.
- Participates in activities to increase job knowledge, including required training and certifications, job rotation programs and training and coaching of other employees.
- Participate in Behavioural Based Safety Training and contribute to the program.
- Participate in LEAN/Six Sigma Training and contribute to and make recommendations for process improvements and LEAN activities.
- Performs work in accordance with job -specific training procedures, follows work aids (DWIs, prints etc.,) and produces work that consistently meets quality standards.

- Identify and resolve safety concerns and issues in daily operations. Follow up with the Supervisor of the outcome, or request support, if required. Assist Supervisors in developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Assist Supervisors in communicating, training, and enforcing safe work practices and procedures.
- Assist Supervisors in engaging employees in safety related discussions and the execution of safety programs, such as BBS programs, risk assessment.
- Ensure tasks are conducted in accordance with applicable employment, environmental, health, safety, quality, and legislation and or regulations (federal, provincial, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, etc.), as well as Rockwell Automation values, ethics, policies and procedures, 5S requirements and standards of business conduct.
- Creates an optimal work environment by establishing and maintaining positive and respectful work relationships.
- All other duties as required and assigned by supervision.

- Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Panel Wiring Certificate preferred.
