**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Ensure sort, load, unload baggage and cargo from flights is per air carrier policy.
Manage a varying number of flights per shift.
Engage the BTW work team to meet Service Level Agreements and carrier policies.
Propel and engage new team members through direct mentorship and hands-on training.
Advise management of no-show or late team members and productivity issues.
Manage shift schedule and address no-shows, lates, sick calls, including replacement team members.
Create shift schedule for local BTW activities.
Verify shift schedule and audit against team payroll submissions.
Provide direction to HR when hiring and/or termination and/or discipline is required.
Ensure local BTW budgets are met and/or bettered.
Delegate tasks as required; Manage downtime productivity with your team.
Delegate flight duties, per flight and ensure accountability.
Be hands-on and working with the team ensuring safety and efficiency are priorities, when necessary.

Complete necessary FOD Walks, Pre/Post Flight Briefings, Workplace inspections etc., to instill SOPs and Maintair driven focus on safety.
Sort, load, unload baggage and cargo from flights, when required.

Connect, disconnect ground power/bridge power from Aircraft, when required.
Marshall aircraft to and from gate, parking stands.
Wing walk arrivals and departures.
Operate belt loaders, baggage tractors and carts.
Complete and monitor aircraft towing and/or brake riding.
Work with all co-workers and customers (ATW, BTW, Fueling, Deicing) to ensure strategic and efficient use of your team.
Ensure the safe operation of all GSE and related equipment and report violations.
Ensure the daily inspection of all equipment is complete, and DSI logs complete.
Ensure GSE and related equipment is serviced, kept clean and useable at all times.
Ensure GSE is parked in its authorized locations.
Ensure equipment deficiency and hazard reports are completed.
Complete and ensure accuracy of MVT Reports.
Verify all station MVT reports for revenue efficiency.
Attending all required training sessions and successfully completing training courses.
Actively participate in company and air carrier safety programs.
Communicate changes in policy to the ramp team as they occur.
Work as a team member in a safe, efficient, professional manner.
Mentor, train and build new team members’ experience and expertise.
Manage published uniform standards and PPE requirements.
Follow all safety guidelines and safe workplace procedures.
Follow company SMS Program - Safety; First, Last, always.
Must be available on-call for emergency and non-standard requirements.
Other duties as assigned by management.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**:
Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent experience (Post Secondary Education Preferred).
Minimum 2-3 years years existing Ramp and/or Supervisor Experience or equivalent experience.
Current Criminal Record Check required.
Current Restricted Area Pass (RAIC).
Current AVOP.
Knowledge of aviation and its related terms, short forms, and verbiage.
Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean abstract.
Ability to speak, write and understand the English language.
Must have excellent team player competencies.
Must be able to work with mínimal supervision, and/or in a team environment working varied and/or split shifts.
Must be able to supervise the team, working on varying air carrier ops procedures.

Must be able to manage and engage conflict resolution procedures when required.
Must be willing to adapt to the changing nature of aviation.
Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Must be willing to work on call and report to the airport within 45mins for callouts.
Must communicate all concerns to management.
Must maintain a professional and experienced level of service with all Maintair customers.

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**:
$85.00 per year Protective Footwear Allowance.
PPE required is provided to employee.
Company apparel required provided to the employee to a max of $500 per year).
50/50 Cost Share on all Uniform Pieces.
Paid Training.
Access to staff travel benefits (if available).
RAIC Deposit may be required as mandated by Airport Authority.
