We are currently looking for qualified **Mark IV Tamper Operators **across Canada. This job will require travel throughout multiple cities in your province with the possibility of other cities in your part of the country.
**Job Duties**:
- Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of Tamper and Regulator operations, track alignment, and inspection
- Responsible to conduct mechanical and safety inspections as required and perform necessary maintenance and repairs
- Responsible for various administrative tasks in regards to production reports, timekeeping, etc.
- Perform general labour with crew as required
- Responsible to ensure compliance to all REMCAN and customer safety policies and procedures

**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s license and produce driver’s abstract
- Minimum 2 years’ railway experience
- Minimum 1 year Mark IV Tamper operator experience
- Able to pass all required railway operating rules examinations
- Ability to pass eRailSafe Canada certification
- Able to pass pre-employment medical including screening for drugs and alcohol
- Demonstrate ability to work unsupervised as well as in teams
- Able to work various shifts as required, including weekends and night shifts
- Able to work in various weather conditions all year round
- Working knowledge of basic computer skills
- First Aid and WHMIS are assets
- Ability and willingness to travel to remote work locations as required
