Wood Finisher/ Sprayer

Concept Millwork Corporation ("CMC") is a manufacturer of high-end, quality, solid wood stile and rail panel doors Our primary customers serve the U.S. commercial market. We are a growing, family-owned business with annual sales of approximately $10 million employing approximately 50 people. Our focus is on a quality product delivered with exceptional customer service.
**Duties**:
- Perform wood finishing tasks such as sanding, priming, painting, staining, sealing and top coating.
- Prepare supplies/material for staining/painting.
- Sand, repair and touch up Product as needed; Fill and smooth cracks or depressions, remove marks, scratches and imperfections, and repair broken parts, using wood putty, Bondo, glue, nails, and small hand tools. -Mix Stain colours as required to create Colour Samples as per Customer’s request. -Stain Product and ensure colour match against Approved colour sample and make corrections as required. -Clean all work areas, including finishing booths and spray guns. -Ensure the quality of finished products by inspecting for flaws and making necessary repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- 1+ years’ experience spraying wood products using both solvent and water based products. - Previous experience in wood finishing or related field is preferred
- Able to use rate, ratios, proportion to mix finishes and calculate how much colour to mix for different batches of stain/colour.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to wood finishing
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues that may arise during the finishing process -Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
