The role
As a Plant Protection Coordinator, you will work as part of a National team to ensure our plant is protected within our footprint. Reporting to the Supervisor, Address Maintenance & Locates, you will be responsible for coordinating the locate desk Nationally and supporting the damage recovery effort Nationally. Please note this is a 6-month temporary position.
Your skills/experience
- Experience in coaxial and fibre optics knowledge or construction would be considered an asset

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Strong working knowledge of Windows and the Microsoft Suite of products
- Goal oriented with the ability to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
- Self-driven and highly motivated with the ability to work well within a team environment or alone
- Adaptive, quick learner, exceptional organization, and reporting skills with the ability to have attention to detail while multi-tasking
- Flexibility to take on other duties or tasks as needed
- A positive, "can-do" attitude and customer focused approach that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with integrity, empathy, and sincerity
- Mark pre
- engineering drawings and send scanned copy to Project managers and engineers.
- Document the completed jobs from contractors for monthly report.
- Maintain positive employee, client and public relations.
- Ensure all company and client policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to
- Contribute to the improvement of current service processes.
