**Creative Twist Inc.** is an award winning event design and experiential agency that has been contracted by the City of Red Deer to oversee the operations of a Real Estate Discovery Centre in the Capstone community.

Capstone is a 91-acre district located between the Red Deer River and downtown. It envelopes a light commercial industrial park with over 100 businesses and services and is home (currently) to about 300 residents. The City of Red Deer owns/controls 19 acres of land and is developing the site as Red Deer’s first Master Planned riverside community. Since 2015, $45 million has been invested to make Capstone development-ready.

The Capstone Discovery Bus is based at Canada 150 Square, a vibrant public gathering area which serves as the central hub within the community. This hub is vital to presenting the vision for the Capstone community in a manner that educates and supports a consumer considering living or working in the community. Throughout the season, the Capstone Brand Activation Team will be involved in activating a variety of events in this space.

The role of the Discovery Bus is:

- To educate and engage Red Deerians and other stakeholders in the vision for and progress of the community.
- To update visitors on new community projects and initiatives (retail, commercial, etc).
- To encourage visitation to the community via special events, celebrations and festivities to witness the transformation taking place.
- To support the resiliency and growth of downtown Red Deer through progressive storytelling and community partnerships
- To support the developer (builder) partners’ sales and marketing efforts, or construction programs.
- To engage the public (future residents) through meaningful and relevant programs and community initiatives which align with and reinforce our community brand values of being Social + Engaged; Inventive +Trailblazing; Nature Loving + Energetic; Curious + Intrigued

The Discovery Bus serves as a base for information about the community development, serving to answer the most basic and most relevant questions prospective residents and prospective developer partners might ask.

- What kind of homes are offered?

The Capstone Discovery Bus is unique in that it is built within a retrofitted city bus. This innovative mobile information centre is, simultaneously, a vehicle to communicate and socialize the vision of the Capstone community, and an informative and entertaining introduction to the idea of what life in the community might be like.

Although its primary home base will be in Capstone, using a mobile information centre to educate and engage Red Deerians - and broadly, central Albertans - affords the Capstone Project Team the unique opportunity to travel to communities in and around the city to share information and educate on the project.

The Capstone Discovery Bus reflects the lifestyle of Capstone, its amenities, values and vibe all within approximately 280 square feet of space. It highlights both the urban and natural aspects of the community and gives visitors a look into ‘a-day-in-the-life’ of this new urban community.

**Who You Are**
- Interested in urban renewal, city growth, downtown redevelopment, construction and building a community
- Available to work a flexible schedule, (approx 7 - 21 hours seasonally, March - December) including most weekends and holidays.
- Have reliable transportation that will allow you to work at the various times and locations required.
- Self-starter who takes a proactive approach to meeting the Discovery Bus goals and objectives
- Detail oriented, with the ability to learn new information quickly
- Professional presentation with strong spoken and written communication skills
- A storyteller - the ability to share information in an engaging and authentic way
- Skilled in delivering exceptional customer service
- Organized and tidy - everything in its place
- Very comfortable with technology - familiar with iPads, spreadsheets and basic operations / troubleshooting tech.
- Team player who is comfortable working in close quarters with others
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, reach above your head, bend over, walk around the area and climb steps and ladders.
- Minimum of 2 years prior customer service experience is required
- Previous experience in sales is preferred

**Your Responsibilities**:
