We are looking for a person to fill one position as a Full Time Interior Building Maintenance, reporting to the Operations Supervisor, at Square One Shopping Centre. The position is a rotational full-time schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsible for the interior maintenance of ‘Square One’ Shopping Centre.
To maintain the interior physical building of ‘Square One’
To ensure that the physical integrity of the base building of ‘Square One’ is maintained. To protect the physical assets of ‘Square One’.
To ensure that the interior maintenance of the physical building meets the expectations of Management
To deliver a service that demonstrates that ‘Square One’ is a first class destination.

**Education & Experience**:
**Education Level**: MUST HAVE: Minimum - High School Grade 12 and trade certificate
Number of years of work related experience to perform the job competently: 3-5 years experience in building maintenance

**Qualifications**:
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
Ability to respond / deliver calls on two - way radio system.
Ability to communicate through electronic devices (i.e., smartphones).
Be able to work with mínimal supervision, be self motivated, well organized, a team player and be able to take direction.
Lifting - Must be able to lift materials of no more than 50 lbs. Aware of proper lifting methods.
Manual Dexterity - use of power tools and hand tools
Work restrictions (i.e. prolonged standing or walking)
Must be well groomed +/ clean shaven.
Must be experienced with using / safe handling of hand-held power tools, table saws, etc.
Must be in a clean and presentable company uniform supplied by Management at all times.

**Job Description/Duties**:
Read parts catalogues, to provide part numbers to Supervisor.
Track and maintain inventory of parts required in area of responsibility.

**Responsibilities to include, but not limited to**:
Drywall - taping, sanding, painting
Floor +/ Wall Tile - Miscellaneous repair of tile, grouting.

**Plumbing - Washroom - Troubleshooting and repairing**: toilets, urinals fixtures, sinks, dispensers, flush valves.
Drain maintenance - experienced, and the ability to use electric snake machine and water jet. Be able to locate clean outs.

**Equipment Maintenance - Maintaining the following equipment**:
Vacuums
Auto floor machines
Electric snakes
Skyjack
Door maintenance - Troubleshooting and repairing - door closures, hinges /panic bars/crash bars / auto/sliding doors, locks, alignment of doors, installation of kick plates +/ maintenance thereof
Carpet Repair - repair re-gluing carpet, repair of nosing.
Reporting - report any building deficiencies to Supervisor - via a work order.
Experienced in the use of power tools required for building maintenance - drills, grinders, table saws, hand-saws, sanders etc.
Experienced in the use of hand tools - pliers, levels, measuring tapes, screw drivers, hammers, chisels, adhesive guns.
Electrical - re-lamping, electrical plate covers, knowledge of breaker panels, resetting breakers. Lockout procedures.
Scissor lift - experienced in the safe operation of a scissor lift; fall arrest training preferred - training certificate.
Working at heights - Responsible for the upper dusting of the common areas (chandeliers, store fronts, HVAC vents).
Signage - to install or repair signage in a professional manner.
Strict adherence to all of Oxford’s Policies and Procedures
Strict adherence to all of Oxford’s Health and Safety Practices
Follow all safety procedures implemented by Management and authorities having jurisdiction, including the Joint Health and Safety Committee.
Must work in a safe manner, including placement of any warning signs that are necessary to inform public of potential hazards.
