Our Testing department is hiring an RF/Electronics Testing Technician. This position will handle the inspection and testing of our RF Amplifiers. This position pays $20-$22/hour with full benefits and review after a 3-month probationary period, with room for advancement within the company. Our hours of operation are 7:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday.

We are located at 8156 Edgar Industrial Close Red Deer Alberta

Ability to follow directions. We work on sensitive high-power electronics that require specific testing procedures to ensure that the amplifier is safe and effective for our clients.

Quick Learner. In this position you will be engrossed in a fast pace work environment, with many new innovations in technology coming out every day.

Attention to detail. Many components we work with are between 1mm-10mm in size. This makes for very fine details with little room for error.

Troubleshooting skills. A large part of Testing is troubleshooting various issues, from diagnosing full systems and circuitry repair to prototyping. A technical mind will excel in this position.

High school diploma

2 Year diploma in Electronics or similar work experience

Basic understanding of the following is desirable:
Basic understanding of RF systems

Oscilloscopes

Network Analyzers

Spectrum Analyzers

RF Power Meters

Multi-meters

Clamp Meters

Basic Circuit Diagram knowledge

Microsoft Office

Basic Computer Skills

Technalogix manufactures Radio, Television, Industrial, Scientific, and Medical amplifiers. Our clients range from Particle Accelerators to small Mom & Pop Radio stations, and we are located right here in Central Alberta
