**Role Summary and Purpose**:
To plan and manage all aspects of project management and construction

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Act as the Owners representative in the planning and management of construction.
- Obtain the necessary documents, permits and approvals required to execute work.
- Support and coach field and office personnel as needed.
- Direct subcontractors, consultants and vendors to ensure they fulfill their contractual obligations safely, on time and on budget.
- Perform weekly inspections on site and ensure quality control.
- Facilitate the exchange of information between the owner, subcontractors, consultants, vendors and bodies of authority in a professional, concise and timely fashion.
- Create and maintain a detailed project budget.
- Create and maintain a critical path project schedule and ensure the timely execution of the project.
- Create and maintain a detailed issues-log for each project.
- Review and approve invoices for accuracy.
- Review and approve project documentation

**Secondary Responsibilities**:

- Attend meetings as required.
- Participate in Safety Meetings as required.
- Support the response to, and documentation of incidents on site including but not limited to injuries, property damage, theft or harassment.
- Identify and bring cost savings opportunities, scope gaps and procedural improvements forward to the President.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in construction, project management, engineering or related field.
- 5+ years experience in the construction industry in a management role.
- Proficient in construction terminology and blueprint reading.
- Professional and ethical interpersonal skills, ability to resolve conflicts, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to use a Apple computer and basic Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
- Must possess a G Drivers license and clean driving record.
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, navigate uneven ground, climb stairs, perform minor physical duties, see and hear well in changing conditions.

**Note**:
The physical demands described here represent typical working conditions on a construction site. Ryse will make reasonable accommodations for those individuals with disabilities. However, the demands of the role may render some individuals unsuitable as it would pose a risk to their safety and the safety of others.

**Working Hours**:
Project Managers work full-time Monday-Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm. Some overtime may be required under special circumstances related to specific activities on site.

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
