Cambridge Community Church in Cambridge, Ontario is looking for a part-time **_Administrative _**
**_Director_** to oversee our church’s operations and the administrative tasks of the ministry of our church. The Administrative Director will assist the pastoral ministry of the church by handling the administrative tasks freeing up the pastoral staff for direct ministry of the Word and prayer (Acts 6).
The Administrative Director will work with the staff, the CCC Leadership Team and volunteer teams to ensure that operational capabilities are optimized and processes are implemented to ensure members of different ages and diverse backgrounds are served effectively. Primary areas of responsibility are administrative administration/oversight, operations management and organizational development to fulfill CCC’s vision of “Transforming lives and communities with the love of Jesus.” This person must be able to see the “big picture” of strategy and organization as well as be attentive to small details to ensure that decisions are implemented.

**The CCC Director of Administration will**:
- Oversee building management (facility and property) ensuring grounds and facilities are safe and inviting for members and guests working with the relevant volunteers and ministries to equip and encourage.
- Manage the renewal of current and acquisition of future contracts for the church outside of staff contracts (e.g. memberships, custodial, insurance, etc.).
- Oversee all rental contracts and license agreements for the facility and holding all paperwork relating to such contracts and renewals.
- Maintain a current calendar of administrative deadlines re: contracts, memberships, etc. for the staff.
- Provide oversight of the church schedule and logistics/planning of events, maintaining and posting a monthly calendar of events for church use and custodial/staff reference coordinating with various ministries to provide direction and coordination for use of the facility.
- Work with staff to plan and coordinate weekly services ensuring the scheduling of necessary volunteers using Planning Center (e.g. tech, worship, teachers).
- Ensure that the decisions of the Board get done as they relate to areas of oversight.
- Equip and oversee all office support staff/volunteers.
- Oversee the financial team ensuring all payment of bills and salaries remain current.
- Collect, track and hold all paperwork for security and insurance purposes for CCC Board and ministry volunteers.
- Oversee and hold the completion of CCC Leadership Team annual paperwork including collection of Corporation of CCC legal paperwork for the lawyer.
- Ensure that information remains accurate and current regarding the status of marriage officiant(s) and governing official information on behalf of CCC for the Office of the Registrar of Ontario.
- Work with the church Treasurer and financial team to oversee the budget and annual budget process.
- Connect with ministry leads and collect up-dates and information as needed for the
Leadership Team. This includes being available for communicating with all of the ongoing
ministry teams, and coming alongside new ministry teams to ensure that their purposes line up with the mission, vision and core values of CCC.
- Ensure bulletin boards reflect current ministries/activities and events.
- Manage and/or oversee social media accounts and other communications utilized by CCC and its ministries ensuring that they are current and reflect the digital/social media policies of
CCC.
- Perform other duties as may be required by the Leadership Team to achieve the overall outcomes and vision of CCC.
- Track and document hours of work per week for record-keeping.
- The Administrative Director works with the Staff team and is responsible to the CCC
Leadership Team via the Congregational Pastor.
- Participate with the Congregational Pastor in an annual performance review.
- This job role requires an average of approximately 8 hours per week.

- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree from and accredited college or university (or certificate of formal post
- secondary training)
