EF Vancouver is looking for a **University Preparation and Cambridge Exams Manager** who will be responsible for the management of both the University Preparation Program and the Cambridge Program at EF International Language Campus, Vancouver.

Cambridge Exams Manager (40%)
- Responsible for both the internal EF program and the external Cambridge Exam Centre CA060
- is the Center Exam Manager (CEM) for CA060 with decision making authority and is the primary liaison between CA060 and UCLES
- hires, onboards and prepares invoices for exam day staff
- ensures annual speaking examiner certifications are up-to-date and in accordance with Cambridge requirements
- schedules and is responsible for exam day management including the safety and security of exams, both before and after exam day
- responsible for sending exams to Cambridge for marking
- On boarding any teachers selected to teach in the Cambridge program (both internal and external)
- Organizing PD opportunities for Cambridge teachers
- Scheduling, monitoring and observing Cambridge classes and instructors; providing support/coaching to instructors, managing performance of instructors and, if necessary, disciplining/imposing written warnings and following the steps of progressive discipline
- Organizing internal student bookings for Cambridge exam classes and reaching out to sales offices pre-departure to ensure smoothly course commencement
- Ensures school Cambridge curriculum is up-to-date with current exams
- Orders textbooks and ensures delivery before the start of the program
- Advises and counsels students in the school’s Cambridge program
- Any other duties that arise related to the Cambridge program

University Preparation Manager (40%)
- Responsible for all aspects of the University Preparation Program at the Vancouver school and in conjunction with the Academic Director and School Director has decision making authority
- On boarding any teachers selected to teach in the University Preparation Program (both internal and external)
- Organizing PD opportunities for UP teachers
- Scheduling, monitoring and observing University Preparation classes and instructors; providing support/coaching to instructors, managing performance of instructors and, if necessary, disciplining/imposing written warnings and following the steps of progressive discipline
- Advises and counsels students in the school’s UP program
- Holds recruitment presentations for EF sales offices
- Works closely and has regular meetings with the NA Director of University Preparation
- Orders textbooks and ensures delivery before the start of the program
- Organizes internal student bookings for UP classes and reaches out to sales offices pre-departure to ensure smoothly course commencement
- Works with the Admin Coordinator to ensure all UP bookings are complete and accurate
- Organizes college fairs and invite guest presentations
- Any other duties that arise related to the University Preparation program

General Academic Administration (10%)
- Assists the Academic Director and the Academic Manager in the day-to-day operations of the Academic Department as needed
- Advise students regarding classes, programs, schedules and academic goals
- assists in onboarding new teachers
- emergency/last-minute teaching

Salary range: $45,000-$50,000
