**Accountabilities/Responsibilities**:

- Providing routing and transportation services.
- Tracking all shipments to ensure on time delivery.
- Having knowledge of what steamship lines, truckers, drayage companies handle certain lanes and pick up locations.
- Understanding what type of transportation services to use and when.
- Checking customer credit.
- Entering daily information in transportation software system and Order Spreadsheet.
- Responsible to follow up with Carriers and Supplier/Load Facilities.
- Negotiate Rates and identify opportunities to reduce costs.
- Communicating any additional costs.
- Providing excellent customer service to all involved parties.
- Complying with SOPs and BRC Global Standards.
- Report Non-Conformances and Non-Compliance issues of Third-Party Service Providers.
- Having knowledge and understanding of pricing trends/availability, supply chain demand, customer knowledge, and country requirements.
- Building strong relationships with all involved parties in the shipment transaction.
- All other tasks assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree / College Diploma in Related Field.
- Customs and Agriculture Experience.
- Food Industry Knowledge.
- Transportation Experience.
- 1-2 years in Logistics Role/Related Field.
- Effective Communication Skills.
- Effective Problem-Solving Skills.
- Quick learner, Motivated to Continuously Develop and Grow.
- Flexible, Ability to Manage Change.
- Fluency in English.
- Language Skills (Multilingual an asset).
