**Environmental Resource Specialist/Forester, Full Time Regular - #649**
**Planning and Development Department - Environment, Administration Centre, Guelph**
The Environmental Resource Specialist/Forester is responsible for a variety of the County’s environmental initiatives, including: maintaining, monitoring, administering and enforcing Wellington County’s Conservation and Sustainable Use of Woodlands By-law No. 5115-09, maintaining and monitoring the County-owned Forest Tracts and trails, providing support and guidance to the Planning and Development Department, and acting as the County’s appointed Weed Inspector and administers the Weed Control Act for the County. This position offers a comprehensive benefit package and a salary range of $87,159.80 - $101,956.40 on the Non-Union Compensation Grid, based on a 35-hour work week: regular schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm.
