With our growing client base we are looking for individuals with flexible schedules available to work when they are notified of new clients in their area (Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, and Guelph).

We are looking for individuals who have the capacity to manage their own schedule and caseload and provide direct care to their clients, making a positive and lasting impact in their lives.

Active Caregiving is an award winning home care business started in 2017 by two women working in the field - we know what it takes to do home care well and the ways in which it can be improved. Active Caregiving values and supports our team members in many ways, some of which are, sick days, benefits, vacation days, competitive wages, training, growth opportunity and socials.

**We are seeking LOYAL and CONSISTENT professionals that are motivated to provide the highest QUALITY of care for adults in our community**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide direct client care inclusive of all services, light housekeeping, errands, outings, personal support work, lifts and transfers, recreation and meaningful activities, meal and feeding assistance, cooking, medication assistance
- Manage your client’s care plan and adjust it accordingly
- Manage your schedule with your clients, including all schedule changes, coverage for vacation and sick time and making the changes in the software.
- Provide professional level communication between yourself, your client and their relations. This includes both verbal and written.
- Complete all necessary documentation in a timely manner for the client, Directors and software
- Input availability and receive intake inquiries
- Attend case meetings and training sessions
- Design and facilitate creative and personalized activities for your clientele

**Requirements**:

- Personal Support Worker Certificate, Disability Support Worker Diploma, Social Service Worker Diploma, Activation Coordinator/Gerontology Diploma or related health care accreditation
- Must have professional senior care experience
- Must be willing to work flexible hours - day, evening, overnight availability
- Must have a driver's license and access to a vehicle with 6A insurance endorsement (or willing to acquire).
- Must have a smartphone and access to a computer with internet.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Respectful, compassionate, and caring disposition.
- Criminal Record check including vulnerable sector search updated annually.
- First Aid level A, CPR and AED training

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
