**JOB SUMMARY**:
Canada's most dynamic and diverse hotel management company Atlific Hotels, is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic professional to progress their Hospitality career. Come and join us at Atlific Hotels Toronto Airport as an **Area Sales & Catering Coordinator** representing the Residence Inn Marriott Toronto Airport; Courtyard Marriott Toronto Airport and Hotel Carlingview Toronto Airport Hotels.

**RESPONSIBILITES**:

- Demonstrates superior time management; priority management; proactive planning and organizational skill set with attention to detail and a diligent approach to completing tasks and responsibilities
- Proactive and Reactive selling by actively soliciting and securing business following hotel and brand standards; proactively sell and upsell which meet the client’s needs and maximizes the hotel revenues
- Monitor/respond/distributes RFPs within 1 business day by qualifying and assigning to the deployed sales manager; preparation of proposals and contracts; reports; managing room block inventory deadlines; informing clients of important deadlines; BEO’s
- Maintenance of Delphi to ensure accuracy
- Meet with group conveners during their events.
- Participate and prepare in Sales initiatives; including sales and catering meetings; taking minutes; reporting;
- Ensure client files are kept organized and current with all required information
- Details function requirement accurately on Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and monitor; track and communicate changes to all stake holders
- Conduct hotel tours and service clients within the company and property policies.
- Support Director of Sales & Marketing and Sales Managers in obtaining contract confirmation / signatures / methods of payment / create group and transient booking links / manage and process group commissions and points
- Contact client after scheduled functions to ensure satisfaction and to solicit rebooking
- Actively cross sell the Atlific Hotels portfolio

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum of 1 years of sales and/or catering experience in hospitality industry
- Post-secondary education in sales and/or business administration
- Proficiency in the English language both written and verbal
- Superior time management/priority management; organization; proactive planning
- Proficient computer skills including but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook. Delphi experience an asset.
- Mature, energetic, detailed oriented, organized and well-developed sales skills including negotiation, prospecting,
- Ability to work independently and as part of a Team
- Commitment to superior customer service

**Salary**: $42,000.00-$44,000.00 per year
