The Digital Workplace and Collaboration Services Branch (DWCS) is responsible for implementing high-quality tools to support a modern digital workplace. By delivering employee-ready tools and supports, DWCS enables and empowers all B.C. Public Service employees to deliver services to the citizens of B.C. DWCS is focused on providing simple, accessible, and approachable solutions to employees, by delivering the information and resources employees need to access and use digital tools and services. Taking an agile and evidence-based approach, the teams that make up DWCS work hand-in-hand with ministries to evolve the digital employee experience and support government’s approach to flexible work.

**The Role**:
The Intermediate Technical Analyst plans and manages infrastructure technology solutions across multiple platforms, program areas and a variety of systems environments, including configuration, installation and integration services.

**Job Requirements**:
Education and Experience:
An equivalent combination of education, training and *related experience may be considered:

- Degree in computer science or other related field; and two years of *related experience, OR
- Diploma in computer science or other related field; and three years *related experience, OR
- Post-Secondary Certificate in computer science or other related field and four years of *related experience, OR
- Secondary School graduation and five years of *related experience.

Related experience includes all of the following:

- Demonstrated experience in investigating and implementing complex IT integration challenges.
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting, testing, implementing software and hardware solutions.
- Experience with all phases of project management and change management.
- Experience with Microsoft infrastructure technologies specifically Exchange (messaging services) or Exchange Online (O365).
- Experience troubleshooting, testing, implementing software and hardware solutions with Microsoft infrastructure technology.
- Experience in investigating and researching technological alternatives for current and future technologies.

Preference may be given to applicants with:

- Two (2) or more years experience in troubleshooting, testing, implementing software and hardware solutions with Microsoft infrastructure technology.
- One (1) or more years experience with Microsoft infrastructure technologies specifically Exchange (messaging services) or Exchange Online (O365).

**About this Position**:
There are currently two (2) permanent position available and one (1) temporary position until October 6, 2023. The temporary position may be extended or become permanent.
