**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Installation**: Install fire sprinkler systems according to blueprints and local codes, including piping, sprinkler heads, and related components.
- **Maintenance**: Perform regular inspections and maintenance on existing fire sprinkler systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- **Repairs**: Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning sprinkler systems, identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
- **Testing**: Conduct system tests, including pressure tests and flow tests, to ensure systems are functioning correctly and meet regulatory requirements.
- **Compliance**: Ensure all work complies with local, provincial, and national fire codes and regulations.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, repairs, and any other relevant activities.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with other trades, contractors, and engineers to coordinate installation and repair activities.
- **Customer Service**: Communicate effectively with clients, providing information and answering questions about their fire protection systems.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Minimum 4 years of experience as a fire sprinkler fitter.
- **Certification**: Red Seal Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter.
- **Skills**: Strong mechanical skills with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
- **Knowledge**: In-depth knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments, including confined spaces and at heights.
- **Problem-Solving**: Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- **Communication**: Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well with clients and team members.
- **Safety**: Strong understanding of safety protocols and practices related to fire sprinkler systems.

Pay: $38.00-$48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
