On behalf of the management team, welcome to the Island Yacht Club

IYC provides the highest level of service to our members while enhancing their stay on the island. Providing full in-house dining in our award-winning clubhouse, outdoor dining on our waterside patio, pool-side drinks and food, and takeout.

We have a position available for individuals with an excellent work ethic, enthusiastic personality, and a strong sense of what giving excellent customer service entails.

**EXPO RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Working with both Back and Front of house during service to ensure excellent table service and timely plating
- Ensure food quality, plating and consistency is at the highest standards
- Making sure all Kitchen procedures and food safety laws are met
- Being aware of food waste control
- Staying on top of food orders times
- Proper packing and organization of all Take-out orders

**EXPO QUALIFICATION**
- Proven team worker
- Ability to remain calm in high volume situations
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Hospitality experience is preferred
- Prior Expediting experience is also preferred
- Smart Serve Certification

**SCHEDULE**:

- Position requires a flexible work schedule including some evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Weekends required
- Holidays required
- Work Week Schedule - To be discussed during the interview

- Our free shuttles provide a 10-minute boat ride from Queens Quay & Dan Leckie Way
