RETAIL EDUCATION & SALES SPECIALIST – ONTARIO REGION

Training is an increasingly important lever for our company to achieve our growth objectives for our brands. The Retail Education and Sales Specialist will contribute to our success by ensuring the beauty Advisors in the drugstore, department and specialty store are properly trained, coached, and that they have the capabilities to sell our products and to offer an excellent and consistent consumer experience.

In this context, we are looking for a specialist to implement the Education strategy by training, developing and coaching stores staff through in-class sessions, on the shop floor sessions and virtual sessions, as well as to organize and execute store animations and special events.

As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies for Sephora, Drugstore and our independent accounts to grow the territory, developing, and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers and managing sales processes of the assigned territory.

1- Retail Education
Drive regional sales by supporting Sephora stores with sales targets and objectives through effective training and education.
Work closely with retail teams to set and execute strategies that increase product sales and brand visibility
Provide in-store support to improve product recommendations and customer engagement
Conduct regular in-store training to ensure teams are equipped with the latest product knowledge and sales techniques to effectively sell products
Serve as the key contact for Sephora store leadership in the region, building strong relationships and fostering a collaborative environment
Support in-store events, product launches, and promotional activities to engage customers and rive sales
Monitor the progress of sales goals and training intiatives across the region, providing regular updates to the leadership team on results, successes, and areas of opportunity
Build special events strategy and perform events and animations in key stores.
Monitor and manage the Education budget, providing regular updates and reports to the manager.
Organize operational logistics of training sessions (training calendar, hotel bookings, update the training data base, etc.).
Collaborate on additional administrative tasks as required by the role.

2- Sales Specialist
Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales objectives per assigned territory/accounts.
Establishing and developing strong sales relationships at store level with Beauty Advisors and Store Leadership
Support strong partnership with retail employees and clients by providing service and support for any needs when in store.
Strong presentation and training skills, with experience in delivering engaging and informative sessions
Strong sales acumen, with the ability to drive sales performance through effective training and ongoing support
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment
Strong Digital awareness, knowledge of MS Office (Work, Excel, Powerpoint) and experience with sales tracking software
Highly motivated, target-driven, and with a proven history of achieving sales success.
Ideally 3 years of previous experience in beauty category (Skincare, Fragrance and Make Up) in a retail sales and education specialist, trainer, or any other relevant position.
A valid driver's license is required, along with access to a personal vehicle.
