Elevate the safety practices of a renowned Mississauga contractor as a Construction Health & Safety Manager. With a solid foundation in health and safety, you will manage and improve the contractor’s safety program. This includes ensuring compliance with legislation, overseeing JHSC activities, and supporting project managers on-site. Your experience will be crucial to fostering a safety-first environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health and safety policies
- Manage and document safety statistics and corrective actions
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain safety standards
- Support and train employees on H&S procedures
- Handle all related insurance and compliance inquiries
- 5-10 years of H&S experience in construction
- In-depth knowledge of Ontario safety regulations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficient in managing safety-related documentation
- Experience with accident investigations and report writing
