Project Manager / Delivery Lead - Managed File Transfer
Position: Project Manager Delivery Lead - Managed File Transfer
Client: Large Private Sector Client
Location: Montreal (Hybrid)
Duration: 16 Months
Background: Kyndryl are seeking a delivery-focused project manager for a managed file transfer / integration migration workstream - owning the plan, trading-partner and vendor coordination, and cutover through to handover.
Key Areas of Expertise:
- MFT / integration migration delivery
- File transfer protocols & partner onboarding literacy
- Certificate management awareness
- Trading-partner & vendor coordination
- PMP / PRINCE2
Qualifications:
- Eleven or more years of project or delivery management experience, with at least four years managing integration or middleware workstreams.
- Working technical literacy in managed file transfer concepts: protocols, scheduling, certificate management and partner onboarding.
- Demonstrated experience planning and coordinating integration platform migrations and cutovers.
- Experience managing external trading partner or third-party coordination during migration events.
- Strong planning, dependency management and reporting discipline.
Expected Tasks:
- Own the MFT delivery plan, including task scheduling, resource allocation and milestone tracking.
- Manage day-to-day activity of MFT technical resources across onshore and nearshore locations.
- Coordinate file transfer dependencies with upstream and downstream application owners and external trading partners.
- Identify, log and drive closure of MFT domain risks, issues and dependencies.
- Plan and coordinate MFT migration and cutover events, including partner communication and validation windows.
- Manage engagement with Axway and other integration platform vendors as required.
- Produce weekly domain status reporting into the program governance cadence.
- Support scope change assessment and input into Project Change Requests affecting the MFT domain.
