Become a crucial part of Global Drain Technologies as a Laser Cutting Machine Operator on the weekend shift This full-time role involves responsibility for cutting stainless steel with precision and quality assurance. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your main duties will include setting up the laser cutting machine, monitoring the production process, and executing regular maintenance. You'll collaborate within a team while ensuring strict adherence to quality standards. Your attention to detail will be essential in maintaining high performance levels. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and wear protective gear
- Set the laser machine according to material specifications
- Load materials accurately on the machine bed
- Check and maintain machine calibration for accuracy
- Verify the quality of finished cut products
- Experience in metal fabrication preferred
- Proficiency with laser cutting technologies
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle heavy materials
- Mechanically inclined with good observational skills
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively in teams
