Become a Fixed Plant Reliability Engineer with Skeena Gold + Silver and lead initiatives to ensure the efficient operation of the Eskay Creek mine. This critical role focuses on implementing reliability strategies and enhancing maintenance practices. This site-based role, reporting to the Mill Manager, offers an opportunity to make a direct impact on mill operations during commissioning and ramp-up phases. You will utilize your engineering expertise to develop maintenance strategies, establish condition monitoring systems, and manage critical spare parts. Your innovative approach will help drive improvements in equipment reliability and operational safety.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead RAM studies for effective maintenance strategies
• Identify key spare parts for operational readiness
• Create and manage asset hierarchies within CMMS
• Engage in root cause analysis for equipment failures
• Drive condition monitoring and performance enhancement projects
Requirements:
• Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• P.
Eng. designation or EIT registration pathway preferred
• Experience with FMEA, RCM, and RCA methodologies
• Excellent technical communication skills
