Join the Ford diagnostics cloud team as a Senior Technical Expert specializing in Java microservices. This hybrid role focuses on delivering innovative solutions for vehicle diagnostics and enhancing software efficiency. In this role, you will leverage over 8 years of software development experience to architect and develop critical microservices that ensure efficient diagnostics data management. Your leadership will enable collaboration across teams, and you will play a crucial role in optimizing system performance and reliability. You will also mentor junior engineers to foster growth and maintain high code quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks in systems
- Lead architectural design for new projects and enhancements
- Drive optimizations for micro-service cost-efficiency
- Develop user-facing features to support productivity
- Enhance stack trace generation and processing capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar
- Minimum of 8 years in software development (C#, Java)
- Proficient in relational databases, especially SQL Server
- Strong debugging skills and an ability to resolve issues independently
- Experience in software design and algorithmic efficiency
