Associate Data Platform Administrator Employment Type: Permanent Data Platform Administrator 15: Salaries typically range from $65,172 to $86,898 annually, based on qualifications and experience plus a performance-based incentive. Export Development Canada operates under a hybrid work model, with employees currently required to work from the office two days per week. Effective September 2026, this requirement will increase to three days per week and will be implemented gradually through a phased approach based on employee location. The Digital & Technology Solutions (DTS) group under the leadership of the Chief Information Officer was established in 2023 with the mission of empowering our customers and colleagues to take on the world, by seamlessly delivering secure and reliable digital experiences. Digital & Technology Solutions has set out to achieve the following objectives for EDC: ~ Define, execute, and sustain the integrated technology target state, target data model and technology operations required to enable EDC’s 2030 business transformation. ~ Establish and manage the rolling 3 Year Digital Roadmap that sequences the technology outcomes required to achieve the technology target state and facilitate its execution across all domains in the organization. ~ Keep pace with industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring EDC has access to the digital technology tools it needs to stay relevant in the market and grow Canadian global trade. ~ Lead and ensure integrated digital, data, infrastructure, and cybersecurity implementations to create excellent customer, user, and employee experiences. The Data Platform Management (DPM) team owns and operates EDC’s enterprise data platforms assuring they are secure, reliable, and ready to scale. We enable teams across Enterprise Data Operations & Technology and the business to access and use data with confidence, while continuously improving how our platforms are governed and run. The Associate Data Platform Administrator is an early-career to developing practitioner role focused on supporting the delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of EDC’s data and analytics platforms. Working within an agile, collaborative team, this role contributes hands‑on technical effort while building foundational skills in cloud platforms, data technologies, operational excellence, and service management. - Data Platform Delivery, this role is ideal for individuals looking to grow a career in data platform engineering and administration through structured learning, coaching, and progressively increasing responsibility Support the design, build, configuration, and operation of cloud-based data and analytics platforms under established standards and guidance. ~ Assist with platform provisioning for analytics, reporting, and data science teams using configuration-as-code tools and automated processes. ~ Monitor platform health, availability, and performance, responding to alerts and user‑reported issues and escalating complex problems as required. ~ Perform routine fault isolation and issue resolution to minimize service disruption and maintain stable platform operations. Analysis, Documentation & Quality ~ Support the documentation of current (“as‑is”) and target (“to‑be”) platform configurations, processes, and controls. ~ Conduct and support platform testing and quality control activities to ensure solutions meet defined standards and user requirements. ~ Governance, Security & Control
