- $25.33/hr (rate effective April 1, 2024) and Living Allowance (LEAP) allocation of $530.04/month for a part-time employee and $883.42/month for a full-time employee (paid to the terms in the Collective Bargaining Agreement) You receive paid training $21.13/hr What do Pre-Board Screening Officers do? You will use your strong customer service skills to uphold the safety of passengers and create a positive travel experience by: efficiently screening passengers and baggage through airport security checkpoints scanning/testing baggage for prohibited items usings X-ray machines, metal detectors and other technology You have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) You are a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada You are able to obtain a Transport Security Clearance and have a no unpardoned criminal record You have fluency in English (verbal and written). Fluency in French is considered a strong asset
- preference is given to Bilingual Candidates You are able to comply with the CATSA medical requirements You have demonstrated exceptional customer service skills, preferably in a high-volume environment for a minimum of one year You are available to work any shift as required by the airport operation.
